a selection from the exhibition "Looking For Godot", shown at Real Pictures in Auckland in1985. At the time, Real Pictures owned both a Cibachrome print processor, and a well thumbed copy of Sally Eauclaire's book "The New Color Photography", both of which influenced the work of many photographers associated with Real Pictures, including myself. Colour abstraction using vernacular suburban landscapes, emphasising the primacy of the picture over the subject matter.
